Claudia da Matta is an Economist, graduated from Cândido Mendes University in Rio de Janeiro. She worked for several years in the Brazilian financial market (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo) as a Senior Financial and Economic Analyst, supporting the trading desks with macroeconomic and market trend analyses. After relocating in 1996 to Silicon Valley, California, she acted as Senior Trade Commissioner for the Consulate General of Brazil in San Francisco, promoting Brazilian companies abroad, as well as investments, exports, and tourism. She has also focused on Cultural Consulting for companies from several countries, including Taiwan, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Luxembourg, Russia, and Canada, and became an experienced professional with great business cultural knowledge of Brazil and the United States. She joined OBr in 2014 and holds the position of Head of US Operations and CRO, working with investor relations, market intelligence, and support activities for internationalization clients in the United States.
